Never one to do things normally; I’m not applying.
But I have made a lens stating why I’m not applying and, in O.J. Simpson style, “if I did it”. So my lens is how I would’ve applied, if I had have applied!
Intrigued? Take a look!
If I Had Applied…

Hello all!
Sorry for not being present much lately. I’ve been working on a few big projects and haven’t had much time to Squidoo but I’ll be around a lot in the next month as I have a race with Loyalis and Fluff!
The pressure is on; I have to get to Giant Squid status before Fluff makes it to Giant Squid 100 and Loyalis gets to 550 lenses! (Loyalis passed 500 lenses on the 13th November 2008 and his blog post is *here*.)
I’ve also been focusing on starting a clothing line with a friend which is time consuming… But we have designs, photography and strategy in place. We just need materials and a website (which I’m in the process of building!). We’ll have some lenses up soon so if you’re interested, please follow us *here*.
I’m also in the process of setting up a city jobs board (lens coming soon for that methinks), which hopefully, will take a bite out of the “big” jobs boards’ pie!
Just to add to the chaos, I’ve also set up a new blog. Skittles! is my little piece of the internet and one I hope will grow each day. =]
Did I mention I’m also doing a month-long experiment throughout December? I’m going to write one article, per day, on Bukisa. I’ll be chronicling my experiment on my new Bukisa lens… *here*.
As you can see it’s a busy month ahead for me but I’ll make sure not to neglect you all again. =]

Well hopefully I am anyway!
I hope you’ll go see my other blog for one reason; I’ve just posted about Blog Action Day. I’m doing my bit by posting everywhere I can (I’ve just posted on Blogger’s Boards too!). I hope you’ll at least take a couple of minutes out of your day to educate yourselves a little more.
Thank you.

This post isn’t Squidoo related but is blog related again. After reinventing my blog last week, I’ve gone one step further and co-founded a blogger’s forum.
Feel free to come over and join us and I’ll hopefully get a lens done about the forum later today.
We’re talking promotion techniques, tips, advice and all from both a reader’s and blogger’s perspective.
And yes, Squidooers can get away with putting links in posts… As long as they are natural! Going out of your way to advertise isn’t allowed but signature links and gentle references to you lenses (linked references, of course) are permitted…
Bloggers Boards
Check us out and hopefully, you’ll sign up and make it the best blogging community on the interwebbythingy! =D

It’s not the usual thing most people post on here but it shall suffice. =]
Basically, if you didn’t know, I started a music blog a few months ago. I’ll admit, I didn’t like my creation and it got neglected. So I decided to start from scratch and take it in a new direction.
Which leads me to this post; my first post has nothing to do with music! Intrigued? So were the 360 people that have taken a look since 12 midnight GMT (It’s 3:46pm as I type this!), unfortunately, they clearly weren’t the commenting types as they didn’t comment… =/
Please take a look and all feedback would be much appreciated… And if you subscribe or share it with anyone, I’ll be forever in your debt.

Moleskine Notebooks have been touted as used by Hemingway, Picasso and Matisse to name but a few; but what is the truth behind these claims or is this just a brilliant marketing gimmick…?
Find out more of the myth and the reality behind the worlds most famous notebook makers; now Italian but originally French? Makers for centuries or merely decades?
And, of course, there is the opportunity to purchase a range of notebooks and 2009 planners.

Inspired by Poddys, this lens is my spoof version of the Boomtown Rats’ song, “I Don’t Like Mondays”.
Based around lensrank updates it gives waiting for updates a completely new meaning; and I can assure you that you will never think of Wednesday updates in quite the same way again…

Ok. For UK readers this is essential, for anyone else it may just be of interest.
Clouda9 told me I should make this a blog post way back on May 12th; so a full 3 months and 2 days later (yes, I know I’m a terrible procrastinator… or should that be talented procrastinator?!) anyway… Here, finally, is the said post!
So… We all like to have money, yeah? Well it seems that the UK banks have been ripping us off. If you go over your overdraft limit you can expect a fine but these charges are unlawful.
UK Legislation states that banks can only charge you the amount it costs them to administer the notification that you have gone over your limit. In simple terms, they can only charge you for the price of sending the letter and possibly, if it’s your first time, a credit check.
The usual charge for breaching your limit is up to £39 but a Professor of Banking has stated this charge should be no more than £4.50; and that’s being generous!
As for Martin Lewis; he’s a financial journalist and he runs a website which provides money saving tips for anyone, anywhere. Find out how to reclaim your bank charges, about some great moneysaving books, all about Martin Lewis and about his website on my lens; Martin Lewis And Money Saving

I know a lot of people have a WordPress blog; myself included although it is a little neglected… =/
But most people realise how important the aesthetics of a blog are and design or purchase a theme to spruce it up and make it generally look more pleasant. Introducing “Wordprezzie”! Wordprezzie are a company that design WordPress themes for a low price ($89) and their first offering “Ice Cream Dream” is truly a mouthwatering sight which only makes you want to see what they having cooking for future delicacies.
If you haven’t already guessed my new lens is about Wordprezzie and can be seen *here*.
It is quite basic, admittedly, but as the range of products and services Wordprezzie provide expands, so will my lens. If you’re a WordPress user, please bookmark this for future reference as I’m sure Wordprezzie will dish up some tasty offerings in the future. =]
P.S. Sorry for all the culinary jokes. I’ve obviously got ice cream on the mind.
